The WIX Glilot project is an unconventional design, with seven “fingers” placed atop four “fingers”.
On the two lower floors, which will be used for commercial and office spaces, 16,000 square meters of single skin stick system curtain walling are planned. 30,000 square meters of unitized double skin façades will be installed on the other floors.
The project’s façades will be a well-ventilated open cavity with Venetian blinds connected to the building’s climate control system. This system provides users with ideal climate conditions inside the building and significant energy savings. The gaps created between the upper and lower “fingers” will be filled with nine skylights spanning some 2,000 square meters.
